Parents, brothers, and sisters can stay at the Ronald McDonald House, which is just a stone&#8217;s throw from the hospital, so they can visit their sick child every day to comfort them and shower them with love during difficult times. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3eefb4d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3eefb4d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">A Home far from home<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5facaa7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5facaa7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Ronald McDonald House is fully equipped and has ten guest rooms, each with a private bathroom. To ensure they receive the best possible care, a strong team and optimal organization are essential. House Manager Ingrid therefore oversees the day-to-day management of the Belgian Ronald McDonald House. L\u00e9onie (Assistant Manager), on the other hand, is responsible for, among other things, scheduling the volunteers, who are the driving force behind the House.   <\/p><p>The purpose of the House is to give parents the opportunity to spend as much time as possible with their children. Although the House aims to give parents as much autonomy as possible to prepare their own meals, maintain their rooms, and so on, the volunteers are there to help where needed and to make the House a warm and welcoming home. The hospital will then let them know if a room is available. Reservations are not accepted, but parents may stay there for as long as their child is hospitalized.   If the House is full, we will operate on a waiting list. <\/p><p>Parents pay a small fee of 15 euros per day for the stay.
