Gala 2026: Special Auction Items for a Special Cause

On October 10, 2026 is the big day: the annual Ronald McDonald House Belgium Gala.

For our guests, it’s an evening to look forward to. For the team behind the gala, that evening begins months in advance. It takes a great deal of organization, preparation, and volunteer effort to get everything ready down to the last detail.

And this is done with a clear goal in mind: to provide as much support as possible to families with a seriously ill child during this one evening.

An important part of this every year is the auction and raffle. For Gala 2026 as well, we were able to count on many artists, companies, and organizations that donated something special.

The result? An auction catalog that’s almost as diverse as the people who worked on it.

Art That Helps Make a Difference

Art will take center stage at this year’s auction. From paintings and photography to sculptures—works by artists such as Sofie Muller and Philip Aguirre, along with many other masterpieces, are part of the exceptional selection for Gala 2026.

Unique Experiences

There’s no shortage of unique experiences, either. Tomorrowland 2027, “The Ultimate City Game” by Team Sparks, a racing experience for ten people, and a stay at Terhills Resort by Center Parcs are among the experiences up for bid.

Design, Jewelry, Sports & More

Design, jewelry, and sports are also represented, including an Eames Lounge Chair & Ottoman, a handmade gold ring, and a signed Club Brugge jersey. The raffle further complements the selection with several attractive grand prizes.

Behind every award is someone who chooses to lend a hand

When you look at all those works, experiences, and awards together, it’s easy to focus primarily on their value.

But for Ronald McDonald House Belgium, the real value lies elsewhere.

Behind every donated work of art, stay, design piece, or experience is someone who has consciously chosen to contribute something.

An artist donates one of their own works. A company offers an experience. An organization donates something from its offerings. Sometimes it’s something valuable; sometimes it’s something that isn’t available for purchase anywhere.

That makes the auction more than just a collection of great prizes. It’s also a gathering of people and organizations who say: “We believe in what you’re doing.”

And that is exactly why they, too, deserve a spot in the spotlight at Gala 2026.

And what makes that one evening afterward possible?

When the final bids are submitted on October 10 and the evening draws to a close, the proceeds take on a whole new meaning.

Ronald McDonald House Belgium uses that support to keep families with a seriously ill child together. Today, this is achieved, among other ways, at the Ronald McDonald House next to UZ Brussels and through the vacation homes in Vielsalm and De Haan.

But this year, we’re also looking ahead with a sense of purpose.

In 2027, the Ronald McDonald Living Room will open in Antwerp. The Living Room will be located on the first floor, within the new unit for intensive neonatal care, and will be an integral part of the new wing at the ZAS Campus Augustinus.

For parents of a newborn in intensive care, a place like this can mean a lot.

Take a brief break from the hospital environment without actually having to leave. Have a drink. Relax. Have a conversation. Or just sit for a while when words aren’t necessary.

And in the meantime, their little one stays close by.

In this way, the proceeds from the gala make a real difference for families, just when they need that support the most.

From an auction lot to something much bigger

Maybe that’s what makes this auction so special.

A work of art will soon find a new home. Someone is enjoying an unforgettable weekend. A designer piece is finding a new home. A winner enthusiastically unwraps a raffle prize.

But what takes its place goes even further.

That is why we would like to thank all artists, companies, organizations, partners, and donors who are helping to make the Gala 2026 auction and raffle possible.

Not just for what you give, but especially for what you help make possible with it.

On October 10, we’ll bring all those contributions together for one evening. Afterward, we’ll share their value with the families for whom we’re ultimately doing all of this.
